Abstract:

The authors describe the properties of alloys containing from 30 to 60 percent of Cr. They have carried out a series of experiments to find out whether such materials can be used for manufacturing gas turbine blades, which must combine heat resistance with the resistance to vanadium corrosion. The results of experiments show the limits, within which materials with high Cr content can be used to advantage. Author
