The general objectives of the present study are threefold 1 to implement an engine test facility incorporating a digital computer for data reduction and analysis, and for advanced control and performance studies, 2 to advance the state-of-the-art of instrumentation for measuring flow variables and other parameters in propulsion systems, and 3 to provide feasibility demonstrations of new parameter sensing techniques for control applications, of new control mechanizations, of advanced engine control loops, and of high response actuators. Initial studies of a single resonant tube fluidic temperature sensor have demonstrated its potential for turbine inlet temperature sensing. Author
