Abstract:
The purpose of the project was to develop a system that would collect viable airborne particles in a liquid and store the particle laden liquid under temperature-controlled conditions. The air sampling rate is 1000 liters per minute, with a liquid flow rate of 3 to 8 milliliters per minute. A sampler was developed that operates on the principle of inertial impingement of airborne particles into a liquid film on the surface of a rotating disc. Author
