Abstract:

The design of a differential analyzer of electron energy is described, and the method of measurement of a plasma electron temperature is substantiated. An analysis is also made of possible distortions of the energy spectrum of electrons introduced during measurements. Using the example of measurement of electron given temperature of a plasmoid generated by a conical induction source, the authors prove that the described method gives correct information in spite of contact. Maximum given values reach 150-250 eV. A weak preionization will not noticeably increase electron temperature it only increases density and the total amount of particles in the plasmoid. A driving field results mainly in an increase of the directed energy of the plasmoid. Author
