Abstract:

Wind tunnel near-sonic part represents a section located beyond the critical confusor nozzle with perforated walls contained in a chamber. Each element is formed by wedge-shaped profiles of triangular or trapezoidal cross section located at right angles to the stream flow. The profiles point with the smaller apex angle towards the flow, and can be rotated in relation to the leading edge which is in the grid plane. The elements pivot independently of each other controlled by local pressure drops. The pitch of the profiles is greater than their chord. The chamber includes the working part and inlet of a diffusor, with perforated rim around it, forming at its rear a channel for air streaming out from the working part of the chamber. Author
