Abstract:

The high-resolution absorption spectrum of quinazoline vapor for lamda 2000 A is presented. Three diffuse pi from pi systems and a single sharp pi from n system are observed. A complete vibrational analysis is given for the allowed singlet Anpi from singlet A electronic system which has its origin at 27,587cm. The diffuse pi from pi systems are also discussed briefly.
