The report is the users manual for a propeller noise detectability program written in Fortran 4 language. This program consists of ten subroutines which are to be used with the proprietary Hamilton Standard propeller performance program made available to the AFAPL previously. The noise program calculates the propeller harmonic rotational noise and the broad-band noise and compares these predicted noise levels with a selected aural detectability criterion to determine the minimum undetectable altitude. Several calculation and input data options are provided in order to enhance the value of the program to a user and are discussed in this manual. The input data and the computer output for four sample cases are presented and discussed. A listing of the source cards and a flow chart of the ten subroutines are provided. Author
