On the Convergence of the Conjugate Gradient Method of Singular Linear Operator Equations.
Technical summary rept.,
WISCONSIN UNIV MADISON MATHEMATICS RESEARCH CENTER
Pagination or Media Count:
Convergence of the conjugate gradient method is established for the minimization of fx 11Tx - y11 squared, when T is an arbitrary bounded linear operator between two Hilbert spaces. Different rates of convergence are obtained depending on whether or not the range of T is closed. Author
