In the previous paper AD-713 998 the question of existence of spherically symmetric wavepackets governed by the nonlinear wave equation phi sub tt - phi sub rr - 2rphi sub r lambda phi cubed zero was considered in the four cases where phi is either independent of t or a periodic function of t and where lambda is either plus or minus one. In the first case phi sub t is identically 0, lambda 1 it was shown that there are no wavepackets in the second and third cases lambda -1 the existence of wavepackets was demonstrated, and in the last case some heuristic arguments were presented in support of the conjecture that wavepackets exist.
