Abstract:

The experimental method of laser induced vibrational fluorescence has been used to measure the overall rate, k12, with which the 001 vibrational energy level of CO2 in the lowest electronic state is deactivated through collisions with DF and HF in their lowest electronic and vibrational states. The rate constants were measured both 75C and 100C at which temperatures the presence of dimers D2F2H2F2 were reduced to negligible proportions. Author
