Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to generalize the method given by P. T. Laurent and C. Carasso for the construction of ordinary polynomial spline interpolation functions. The report discusses the extension of the method to the case of polynomial spline functions interpolating in the sense of Hermite. The generalization to interpolating L-splines is mentioned. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate certain aspects of the method. Author
