Abstract:

The program objective is to furnish all the engineering technology and facilities necessary to design, fabricate, test, and deliver components for the development of a nonexpendable vehicle mine clearing roller. It is to incorporate a command wire cutter. The roller will be used for assault mine field breaching and route clearing operations and is designed to detonate single impulse, pressure-activated mines buried under soil, sand, or water up to 6 inches deep. A command wire cutter will be developed as an integral part of the Vehicle Mine Clearing Roller. Author
