Abstract:

The study identifies, defines, and suggests solutions to legal impediments to international intermodal transportation. It emphasizes the areas of through rates and regulation, through documentation, and through responsibility and liability. Of necessity, it also treats related aspects of the federal regulatory structure, antitrust considerations, international treaties and negotiations.
