Abstract:
During a great geomagnetic disturbance and at the end of a polar cap absorption PCA event, emission of radio noise on 225 MHz was observed at Oslo with a 7.5 m paraboloid directed towards the lower northern horizon and thus covering part of the auroral zone. The flux of the observed radio noise was of the order of 1 x 10 to the -22 power Wsquare m Hz. Author
