The report covers the design, development, fabrication, test, and evaluation of liquid rocket propellant containers fabricated by solid-state bonded methods. There were no fusion welded joints. The objective of this program was to develop liquid propellant tankage with a zero-leak potential and joints with parent material strength. The program was conducted in four phases 1 Preliminary design and analysis 2 Bonding development 3 Prototype tankage fabrication and test and 4 Fabrication of tankage for propellant storability tests. The original program was initiated in February 1969. All tanks produced up to this point were made from A-286 alloy. Author
