The Irwin fracture criteria and Boyle mechanical compliance analysis were used to predict critical crack lengths of stable fatigue cracks in aluminum alloy 7075-T7351 plates. The Boyd hypothesis was also used to predict the velocity of unstable cracks in these plates. Author
