The Helmholtz or scalar wave equation is separable in oblate spheroidal coordinates with solutions Psi. The subject of this report is a Fortran computer program called OBRAD which numerically evaluates the radial solutions. The printed output from OBRAD consists of radial functions of the first and second kind, their first derivatives, the separation constants or eigenvalues, and an accuracy check. This report first describes the input data cards and the output format. The theory of the oblate spheroidal wave function is then discussed. A description of the principal internal features of OBRAD is then given. Finally a computer listing of OBRAD is attached as an appendix.
