Abstract:

The results of these experiments indicated that both angiotensin I and bradykinin are substrates of dipeptidyl carboxypeptidase thus, the enzyme can inactivate the hypotensive peptide bradykinin and liberate the hypertensive angiotensin II. The reaction is inhibited by dipeptide split products and by the B-chain of insulin. Author
