Apparatus required to investigate the depressurization extinguishment behavior of solid propellants was constructed and a series of tests was conducted using a number of AP propellant compositions at several pressure levels. The results define more clearly the effects of these parameters on the dynamic behavior of the flame. A summary of the findings plus a detailed description of the apparatus and procedures used is given in the report. Author
