Abstract:

In a number of cases when antifriction plastics are used in friction units of rolling mills, where great strength is required, even textolite possessing high physicomechanical indices do not withstand the impact loads. The application of polyamide synthetic fibers as fillers for phenol resins makes it possible to obtain a material which has high resistance to moisture, impact strength, and wear resistance.
