Abstract:

The gas-static radial bearing with external injection, made in the form of a bushing with longitudinal grooves uniformly distributed along its inner surface and with radial openings in which nozzles are installed, is distinguished by the fact that in order to increase its operational capacity and vibration stability at high journal rotation speeds, each nozzle is made in the form of a capillary tube with one end having a reduced cross section this provides the required gas flow rate through the radial gap of the bearing the bearing is distinguished by the fact that the end of the capillary tube with reduced cross section has an oval shape the end of the capillary tube with reduced cross section has a triangular shape.
