The results produced by the HANDS program are of three general TYPES developments in automatic processing and handling of geophysical data collected from a large number of sensors, and findings bearing on the capabilities of nuclear detection systems, and conclusions of rather broad scientific interest. Descriptions andor examples of some of the more important of these results are given. An appraisal is made of the HANDS program, including some shortcomings, and some recommendations for future similar systems are given. Author
