An analysis of experimental model data is applied to determine numerical values of parameters entering a six degree of freedom mathematical model of assault boat motion along a sloping beach with waves. Particular computations are carried out to assess the degree of agreement between theory and experiment to determine proper values of some parameters in the equations and to validate the use of the equations as a means of adequately simulating assault boat motion in real time. The results of this investigation support the use of the developed mathematical model for a real time simulator for training purposes. Author
