The report presents a summary of self-organizing controller SOC principles, the description of a laboratory Demonstrator Self-Organizing Control System, discussion of design alternatives considered prior to its fabrication, and a test procedure for verification of proper operation of the Demonstrator. This Demonstrator was developed to obtain physical proof of multivariable SOC principles pertaining to control of flight vehicles it is also a research tool and instruction device for further exploration of SOC applications and comparative studies of manual and SOC control performance.
