In order to investigate the influence of the spin in elastic low energy electron scattering from gaseous atoms, the Dirac equation was solved numerically. The complex scattering amplitudes, which describe the scattering process, are given. From the Tables it is possible to determine the elastic differential cross section, the spin polarization of elastic scattered electrons, the asymmetry of scattered electrons when the incoming electrons are already polarized, the change of the polarization vector in a scattering experiment a.o. The employed scattering potentials are relativistic Hartree potentials. The exchange of the electrons was not included since it contributes only very little, with the exception of the smallest angles. In this angular range the uncertainty in the wave functions for very large impact parameter is so significant that the addition of the approximation exchange would have distorted the values even further. Thus the scattering factors for Theta 10 degrees have to be used with special care. Author
