Two areas of research are briefly discussed. The first was a study in the geochemistry and biological productivity of the Dead Sea. This study was separated into four parts Chemical analyses of the Dead Sea and Jordan River The Jordan River system The isotopic and inorganic geochemistry of the Dead Sea and the springs around it and The organic geochemistry of the Dead Sea sediments.
