Abstract:

The method for obtaining insulating oil for ultrahigh-voltage cables and apparatus is distinguished by the fact that, in order to produce oil with a low solidification temperature, high dieelectric properties, and resistance to gas generation during ionization, low-viscosity oil is thickened by a high-molecular viscous additive and an antioxidant is added. The method is distinguished by the fact that polyisobutylene with a molecular weight of more than 20,000 is used as the high-molecular viscous additive and that ionol is used as the antioxidant additive.
