Abstract:

The objective of the program was to conduct an exploratory development program, to determine the feasibility and practicability of developing a second generation cartridge case for the subject weapon systems, that has as its prime characteristics, self-disposibility, i.e. the case or its fragments are not to be deposited in the vehicle after firing.
