Incompatibilities were observed during the performance of typical field communications activities within an Infantry Battle Group. Handgear and trigger-finger mittens were involved in serious incompatibilities. The other items involved were the pile cap, the old black rubber insulated Mickey-Mouse boots, the helmet and the helmet liner as well as the TE-33 tool equipment, the M-1 rifle, and the gas mask.
