Abstract:
In connection with the introduction into practice of the processing of geophysical data by electronic computers, it has become possible to use a different approach to the problem of converting the gravity field observed on the earths physical surface into different levels of the upper half-space, as well as of converting the observed field into the higher derivatives of the gravity potential. In the present article the effectiveness of the method for gravity reduction as described above is demonstrated.
