The paper proposes an electronic system for conducting efficient, controlled experiments in psychoacoustics. The use of such a system presumes the availability of basic laboratory quarters, including an oscilloscope, at least one sound attenuating chamber, and preferably free-field and reverberant rooms as well. The system is a flexible hybrid network of analog and logic devices for the production and programming of auditory signals and the recording of responses from human subjects. Author
