The finding of tick-vectors of theileriasis in local situations is of scientific and practical interest, since without information on the vector and its area of habitat it is impossible to make a epizootological classification of the territory and to develop and carry out a program of prophylactic measures against this disease. To determine the vector of theileriasis in local conditions, investigations were designed to define the distribution zone of this disease. The distribution of bovine theileriasis pathogenic agent T sergent in the Primorye region coincides with the distribution range of Haemaphysalis bispinosa ticks. This served as the reason for proving that this tick species may be possible vector of T. sergenti.
