The vapor pressure of potassium over solid melts of potassium in antimony was measured depending on concentration and temperature, and the thermodynamic functions of four intermetallic compounds were calculated K3Sb, K5Sb4, KSb, KSb2. Measurements were made with the help of a surface ionization detector. Five phase regions were observed and equations were calculated for the saturated vapor pressure of potassium in each of these regions. The heat of vaporization for potassium at 400 degress K was calculated -- 20.9 plus or minus 0.1 kcalgm times atom. Thermodynamic potentials and heats of formation were calculated.
