Abstract:

The Ionosphere Sector of the Kazakh Academy of Sciences has developed a computerized system of recording and reducing ionospheric data obtained through the use of radiosondes. SOD-A is the automatic multichannel system for the recording and reduction of data pertaining to the inhomogeneous structure of the ionosphere SOD-B is the installation for the reduction of vertical panoramic sounding data semiautomatic input of data directly into computer SOD-C is the installation for the recording of panoramic vertical sounding data in the transitional stage storage unit SOD-D is the system for the recording and reduction of data obtained in investigating radiowave propagation SOD-E is the system for the recording and reduction of data obtained in investigating the height frequency relationships of the basic parameters characterizing the state of the ionosphere.
