Abstract:
The wavelength dependences of the photoionization cross sections of zinc atoms have been measured with a modulated atomic beam and pulsed, dispersed vacuum-ultraviolet radiation. The photoions were mass analyzed, counted, and digitally demodulated. The energy dependences of the photoionization cross sections to produce Cd, Cd, and Zn have been measured with modulated atomic beams and pulsed, dispersed vacuum-ultraviolet radiation. Author
