Abstract:

The Fleet Operational Data System utilizes automatic data processing equipment to collect and process fleet operational data generated at the unit level. Its purpose is that of maintaining an accurate and current operational status of forces file able to provide immediate and factual information of CINCPACFLT and higher commands. The system, besides providing tailored reports designed according to the users needs on the operational status of the fleet, also provides a history file containing selected operational data on all units.
