Abstract:
An investigation was made of unidimensional with plane, cylindrical, and spherical waves and quasi-unidimensional nonsteady flows, as well as plane and axisymmetric steady flows. Two problems are studied variation in the intensity of weak shock waves in the presence of effects due to the flow parameters, and interaction of weak shock waves with strong discontinuities which differ from contact tangentia discontinuities. The thermodynamic properties of the gas are considered arbitrary. It is noted that the formulas obtained for the interaction coefficients of the interaction of weak and strong discontinuities are preserved during nonequilibrium flow. Results are presented and compared with those of other authors. Author
