Abstract:

The papers and the discussions reported in the document were intended to develop the nature of the fire service problems as seen by fire chiefs to report the progress made to date in the initial attempts by several cities to solve problems by the application of systems analysis and computer technology to emphasize the critical role of communications in directing fire-fighting operations and to examine specific items of fire equipment in terms of both their adequacies and their deficiencies.
