Abstract:

The general time-dependent, one-velocity neutron diffusion equation is formulated in generalized three-dimensional coordinates for bare heterogeneous systems containing N very thin heterogeneities. This diffusion equation is written first in the Heaviside notation and subsequently transformed to a Dirac delta function representation.
