Junior college student subjects reviewed test questions which were selected on the basis of the amount of time each subject spent responding to these items previously. One group reviewed items they had answered slowly in more than their own median time for all test items. The other group reviewed their quickly answered items. Those who reviewed slowly answered items made fewer errors when retested. They showed a significantly greater reduction in percentage of errors from first to second retest, between which tests review occurred. Author
