Universal tunable iterative-circuit structures are considered which possess the following characteristics 1 The structure consists of different but regularly recurrent elements and links between them 2 The structure is logically complete permitting, in principle, the realization of any finite automaton 3 The structure is tunable by control signals. In the structures based on NOR or NAND or implication elements, the completeness of links is determined by the possibility of constructing both forward and inverse branches between any two nodes of corresponding graphs. These structures based on resistor-transistor elements are briefly examined 1 A structure consisting of intersecting horizontal and vertical chains describable by a planar antisymmetrical 4th degree graph 2 A modification describable by a nonplanar antisymmetrical 4th degree graph 3 A structure in which base-controlled transistors alternate with collector-controlled transistors describable by a symmetrical graph. Types of tuning and reliability of operation are briefly considered.
