Abstract:
The energy and angular spectra of gamma radiation penetrating a 48 plus or minus 1 psf vertical slab bounding a simulated semi-infinite plane radiation source were measured. The experimental results are given in terms of gamma-ray flux differential with respect to energy and direction, normalized to a 60Co source strength of 1 Cisq ft. The measurements were made at a height 3 feet above grade at each of 40 directions. Author
