Abstract:

The report deals with two estimation and two distribution problems. The window-estimators for the size and the location of a single, simple discontinuity of a density function have been studied. The distribution of the median of a special type of Gaussian process has been obtained. Some partial results on the distribution of the mean of the same type of Gaussian process are included. Author
