Abstract:
Fiber optics was successfully employed to perform the functions of image dissection and scanning in Facsimile Transmission. Two operational models was developed and constructed to incorporate the concept. One was designed to scan copy 8 12-inches wide, the other, 18 58-inches wide. Both instruments posses the unique capability of continuously scanning copy of any length.
