Abstract:
From a broad conceptual standpoint, this paper may be regarded as having two general aims. One is to bring together in a detailed way the ideas of contemporary mathematical learning theory and the concept of information structure. The other and subsidiary aim is to show by example how difficult the analysis of these concepts becomes if the objective is to carry the analysis through to the point of yielding explicit analytical results that can be tested against experimental data.
