The report describes measurement of heat flux through the floor of the Arctic Basin, using a drifting ice field, one that presumably would pass over the Lomonosov Ridge in the direction toward the North Pole. The expedition was organized at drifting station North Pole 15 by the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute.
