Pagination or Media Count:
Tests were performed to determine the effect of the gyratory compactors three variables angle of gyration, vertical pressure, and number of revolutions on the compaction characteristics of crushed limestone. Other information obtained during the test program included upper roller pressures, sample rebound after gyration, California Bearing Ratios indicating comparative soil strength, reproducibility of gyratory compaction results, and degradation of aggregate during gyratory compaction.
