Abstract:

Studies were conducted to determine the dependence of output-signal characteristics on cavity resonator dimensions of flueric temperature-sensing oscillators. The effects of resonator dimensions length and width, of nozzle area ratio, and of edge distance from the inlet nozzle on the operational threshold, frequency, amplitude, and signal-isolation ratio were studied. The information derived can be utilized to make the process of flueric temperature sensor-oscillator design a more precise and scientific operation. Experimental data have been arranged to show the relationship of signal characteristics to resonator configuration dimensions and environment pressure and temperature. Author
