Abstract:
A recurrent problem in optimization theory is the behavior of the system in a neighborhood of a stationary point. A theorem is proven for a class of locally Lipschitz operators which gives explicit lower bounds for a neighborhood of a zero of an operator in which the zero is unique. This result is then applied to a problem in minimization with nonlinear constraints obtaining similar results for stationary points. Author
