The report describes a study to develop a more precise methodology for the selection and quantification of parts which are to be included in initial and resupply packages to support electronic equipments during contingency operations. A procedure was developed which can be utilized by provisioning personnel for determining spare part requirements for equipments used in contingency operations. This procedure, which provides the accuracy required for maximum effectiveness, permits provisioning personnel to select and quantify spare parts which are to be included in initial and resupply packages for periods of 1 to 30 days, 31 to 180 days, and general support.
